GPM = 0.0408 X Pipe diameter  inches2 X Feet / minute water volocity
Weight of water in a pipe:
Pounds water = Pipe Length in feet X Pipe diameter inches2 X 0.34
Pounds per sq. inch at the bottom of a column of water:
Height of column of water in feet X 0.434
Weight of water:
1 gallon of water = 231 cubic inches = 8.333 pounds
1 pound of water = 27.7 inches
1 cubic foot of water = 7.5 gallons = 62.5 pounds ( 64.3 lbs salt water)
